A cookie is a small file written to your device to recognise your browser from page to page, or from visit to visit. We use none for that purpose. The only thing stored on your device is the choice you make in the banner, so that we do not ask again on every page.
Audience measurement runs on Umami, a tool we host ourselves: the data is not passed to any advertising network or third-party service. It works at two levels, depending on your choice.
Even if you decline, we count page views anonymously: the page viewed, the referring page, the device type and the approximate country. No cookie is set, nothing is written to your browser's storage, and no identifier follows you from one visit to the next. This data cannot identify you, and we rely on our legitimate interest in knowing whether the site works.
If you accept, we add usage-event measurement: which links and buttons you click, where you leave a journey, the contact form being sent. We use this to understand what gets in the way and fix the pages, nothing more. Still cookie-free, still on our own server, and your consent can be withdrawn at any time.
No advertising, no data resale, no social network or ad network trackers, no advertising profile, and no tracking of your browsing outside this site. If your browser sends a 'do not track' signal, we honour it whatever your choice in the banner.
The banner lets you decline, accept, or open the settings to decide point by point. To change your mind later, clear this site's data in your browser: the banner will reappear on your next visit. You can also write to us at hello@beliminal.be.
